My favorite thing about my legal placement professional was that she was extremely responsive through the entire process. She thought of creative ideas to get me into firms or get opportunities at firms, even during a pandemic. I really liked her and her approach. I have been a recruiter before and she did everything I would have done, if not better. She helped me prepare for interviews, she was just like my friend. We talked about stress eating cookies and things like that, it was funny. We had a really great time and I loved her so much. She did 100% of the work. She did inquires at law firms, and made the process more fun and seemed to understand me and what I was going through as a job searcher. The automated system was great, but sometimes it got annoying, so she would vet that for me. It seemed like it was it was personalized to me and what I was looking for. My legal placement professional was very attentive and very much aware of what I wanted, what I didn't want, she was casting a wide net, but she took into account what I was really looking for so I really appreciated that instead of doing the mass resume thing. I like that she was really responsive and one of the things I really appreciated about working with her is that she was very involved, I had issues like when should I send my notice and so on and she basically guided me through the whole thing and is still guiding me so I really appreciated that about working with her. First of all, BCG allowed me to know about opportunities that I wouldn't have known about otherwise, so that presented more opportunities than I would have found on my own. They were very good about scheduling the calls, getting the process rolling. I started working with someone who was in California and he transferred me to an associate in New York. The entire process was basically seamless. Another recruiter at BCG picked up where Brian left off. I really appreciated the responsiveness and being able to get the process rolling quickly. It made it a whole lot easier because BCG had their eye and ear to the ground and were able to see what openings were there and get me in the door, which I wasn't able to do on my own. I was also abroad and trying to transfer home so I really didn't have an ear to the ground. I needed someone to advocate on my behalf in the states while I was abroad. I would say Becca's responsiveness and thoroughness with explanations providing as much contact as possible [was my favorite part of working with BCG]. I just left it in her hands. My favorite thing about working with BCG Attorney Search and Harrison Barnes was that they provided a really comprehensive list of potential employers and it was simple for me to apply to those employers. Essentially all I had to do was green light them and BCG took care of the rest. This made my job search easier because it was super passive on my end and all I had to do was review the employers list and green light the ones I wanted BCG to apply to on my behalf and then BCG took care of the rest so there wasn't really a lot that I had to do which freed up to do other things. BCG Attorney Search is the best legal recruiting firm that I have worked with. During my job hunt, I was contacted by 2 other recruiting firms, and BCG was the one that got me the job. I had the best luck working with them and they also set me up with an actual attorney who prepped me for interviews and that was really helpful. They were also the most responsive. The other recruiting firms that had reached out didn't do a great job of responding to my emails and other correspondence.

Job searching is always stressful no matter what, and adding a global pandemic on top of that is extremely stressful. A lot of times when you work with others it's just a series of emails back and forth but, at least with the recruiter I worked with at BCG, we had a number of telephone calls as well. I think that was probably the best part, because things can get lost in emails that are not in telephone conversations.
